By Car (from Madeira International Airport): - Follow the main R-101 Via Rapida motorway (dual carriageway) from the airport or, if coming from Funchal, head towards Ribeira Brava. - At the end of the last tunnel on the motorway, take the right exit for Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol. - Proceed along whilst following the signs to Ponta do Sol, until you find an exit to Canhas - Paul da Serra. - Follow this road up for just over 1 km until you come to a crossroad. - Go straight ahead, following the signs for Lombo de Sao Joao - Levada do Poiso. - Follow the road for just over 1 km up to a Y-junction with a sign for Quinta do Alto de Sao Joao pointing to the right. Follow the sign and subsequent ones to the hotel until you reach your destination.
